Smits Machinefabriek is the precision engineering and manufacturing partner of AST. This factory manufactures high quality machine parts for various branches of industry, including parts for Philips electron microscopes. Smits Machinefabriek has a climate controlled measuring department, comprehensively stocked with sophisticated measuring equipment. High accuracy measuring and testing takes place throughout the production process, ensuring the quality of all components right through to the assembly stage.
